ふう、懸案の入稿用原稿を編輯部に送つて了つたのでホツと安堵。引き續き明日締切の書評執筆が控へてゐるのだが、此處らで一息つきたい。久し振りに英國國營放送第三ラヂオを聽かう。先週の「今週の作曲家」はフランシス・プーランクだつた由。今なら未だ第一回目からオン・デマンドで聽ける。

解説役ドナルド・マクロード氏はいつも通り明瞭にして的確。開口一番プーランクの音樂を「ミュージカル・レモネード」だと喝破する。
殆どが架藏するディスクだから既知の演奏許りだが、懇切な説明附きなので理解が格段に深まり、すとんと腑に落ちるので難有い。

代表作の羅列ぢや無く、有名無名曲こき混ぜつゝプーランクの人生を鮮やかに浮彫にする。而も彼の秘かなセクシュアル・クライシスへの言及も忘れない。「呑み助の唄」や亡父を偲ぶ「彌撤曲」なんて澁い處も抜かりなく聽かせちやう。第二回の最後はダニエル・ダリューの「愛の小径」でひつそりと。
